Vegan “Parmesan” Cheese

This whole food, plant-based cheese alternative contains no oil, refined sugar, or highly processed ingredients, and it is gluten-free. Super fast and simple to make, this cheesy crumble is sure to be your new favorite vegan cheese replacement.

Prep: 2 Minutes | Servings: ½ cup

Ingredients

¼ cup raw cashews
¼ cup blanched slivered almonds
2 Tbsp nutritional yeast
¼ tsp sea salt or to taste
¼ tsp garlic powder
Pinch black pepper

Method

  1. Add all the ingredients to a high-speed blender and pulse for about one minute.

Cooking Tips

Do not over process the ingredients or you will turn the mixture into parmesan butter.
