Roasted Cauliflower Steaks With Lemon

These oil-free roasted cauliflower steaks can be served as a healthy, flavorful side dish packed with delicious spices and a tangy splash of lemon. They can also be enjoyed as a main dish. Either way, it’s a great choice for incorporating more vegetables into your diet.

Ingredients

1 head of cauliflower
1 lemon, cut in half
Seasoning to taste (see tips)

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
  2. Remove the green base of the cauliflower and place the cauliflower on a cutting board.
  3. Squeeze half of the lemon over the entire cauliflower. Cut into thick slices or “steaks” (some pieces may break off) and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Squeeze the other half of the lemon over the cauliflower.
  4. Season evenly with suggested seasonings and bake for 20 minutes or until browned.

Cooking Tips

Suggested seasonings: salt, pepper, curry powder, garlic powder, or homemade adobo.
