Banana Bread Oatmeal

This quick and easy banana bread oatmeal combines the flavors of banana bread for a naturally-sweet start to your day.

Prep: 5 Minutes | Cooking time: 10 Minutes| Servings: 1 (2 cups)

Ingredients

½ cup rolled oats
1 banana, cut in bite size pieces
2 dates, chopped
½ tsp cinnamon
1 cup water
1 Tbsp walnuts

Method

  1. Combine the oats, banana, dates, cinnamon and water in a small pot.
  2. Cover and simmer for 3-4 minutes, until the oats are creamy.
  3. Top with walnuts and serve.
