Chocolate Madness Smoothie Bowl

  If you are a chocolate lover, this super easy smoothie bowl will leave you pleased. In addition to the health benefits provided by the cacao, it is loaded with potassium, calcium, and omega-3 fatty acids. A smart way to treat your sweet palate!

Health Benefits  -  gluten free, soy free

Prep time  5 minutes

Yield        2 servings

 Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp cacao powder
  • 1 ½ frozen banana
  • 2 pitted dates
  • 1 cup unsweetened plant-based milk
  • 2 Tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 Tbsp almond butter (optional)

Toppings

  • Strawberries, sliced
  • Frozen cherries
  • Kiwi, sliced
  • Toasted quinoa
  • Toasted oats
  • Cacao nibs

Method

  1. In a blender, place all the smoothie ingredients and process until smooth. Add additional milk if needed.
  2. Transfer to a bowl and add toppings.

Cooking Tip

  • Serve with an oil-free, fruit-sweetened granola such as our Guilt-Free Chocolate Granola.
